Well this month we finally moved to a house, and we absolutely love it. We moved last weekend, so we're still settling in, but there is so much room for Emma to run around. She loves it as much as we do. We have a great size yard that I'm looking forward to landscaping and setting up with Emma's pool, slide, etc...I'm also excited about hanging a swing in the front yard. It may not seem like much, but these are the little things that aren't possible when living in a townhouse. We are also 2 blocks away from the neighborhood park. Too bad the heat in Houston has been sweltering. The park will be reserved for early morning and early evening fun.
Here are some ways we have been trying to keep cool this summer...
Riding the carousel at Memorial City Mall. She wasn't too sure of it at first, but then she couldn't get enough. We rode it 3 times.
Again, mom? Again????
My mom's cousin and his wife from Australia meeting Emma for the first time. This was their first trip to the States. The last time I saw them was in '99 when I visited the whole family in Sydney.
So Evan saw this cushion being removed to get to the crumbs, and guess what he did soon after! It took all his might, but he got that cushion off the chair!
...and this chair was just right...
Snuggling with my cousin.
I love this picture of Emma and her grandpa.
Taking some silly pics on our 3rd anniversary. I cannot believe it's already been 3 years!
Our happy little family of 3... on our next anniversary, a family of 4!
Emma LOVING the rice and peas at our anniversary dinner at India's. Yum!
I would also like to wish my cousin, Anna, a very happy and blessed birthday. Her husband, Tim, threw her a wonderful surprise birthday party earlier this month. A fun time was had by all...
